Default Question I'm about one month post op

Is it normal to have good days and bad days? I haven't had any trouble with my water until yesterday. Maybe I am sipping too much. I started to get a little pressure in my chest and across my back. Is that normal if you drink too much too quickly?

Try smaller sips and slow down. I'm one month out too and I can't tolerate water very well, but I can tolerate decaf tea with no problems. Also, try Mio in the water, it helps it go down better for me and I don't get that chest pain or stuck feeling in the chest. Good luck!

I found using a straw helped with the sipping, and yes changing the flavor of the water even a tiny bit really helps.

I am having trouble with the sipping, I really have to stop and think about it.

I just went to the doctor. He said it is not uncommon to experience this with water. He said try smart water for the electrolytes. I actually bought vitamin water and because it's so sweet I water it down. It seems much better so far.
