O.k i am almost 5 months post op and only lost 62 pounds i still have 41 pounds to lose til goal and im scared im noy gonna get to goal because hear you lose your weight in the first 6 months of your journey and im almost to that!! Can someone shed some light on this and its scary because i can consume 1200 calories a day :/

I think people say they lose the MOST initially but can and do keep losing for much longer than that IF they follow the program. I am guessing you are still losing but slowing down. Pretty normal.

Yep George is right well as per my notes the nurse explain that you loose the most weight in the first 6 mo but can take longer for you to loose the rest 18 mo or more.

You just need to keep working at it. Eat your protein and veggies, avoid the carbs. Keep moving and drink your water.

Ditto! It will happen. Remember-your body is going through major changes. Be patient.
