Default How do you get in so much water

Just got out of hospital because of dehydration, how does everybody get in so much water or fluids. I just cant manage it, I had a cuppa a large one for breaky and about 400mls of water mixed with gatorade and thats it today so far, I really try but I feel water logged. I know soup, custard, yogurt goes towards it but as far as drinking it goes not happening. How do you all get in so much any ideas greatly appreciated.

This is a challenge. I keep a water bottle with me all of the time. Drinking had become a bit easier for me in the past two weeks. Warm drinks tend to go down easy. My tummy likes them better than ice cold. Flavorings in the water are good too.

I'm sure you've heard it before, but sip, sip, sip! You really do have to drink constantly during your waking hours. It will get easier as you get further out, too.

I am required to drink 80oz a day. So I drink 30 before lunch, 30 after lunch and the other 20 either before or after supper. I can now drink it fairly fast thankfully cause sometimes I don't get started on it early because I am really busy at work. Just keep sipping it ever few mins

If you are not actively eating, or your 30 minutes before/after, you should be drinking!! Period. Keep a water bottle with you at all times. And, it does get easier!!

I know it's hard. I'm 1 year out and it's so much easier at this point you will get there. In the beginning, I drank a full glass of water before breakfast and then ate my meal. I would wait one hour and then drink another bottle of water. I did this throughout the day. After I could tolerate the water with no problem, I changed my meal plan. I now drink skim milk in the morning (LOVE hoods simply smart skim milk) and take my vitamins. I would never be able to meet my protein goals without the milk. One cup is 10 grams. I wait 30 mins and eat breakfast. It really helps to start the day with as much liquid and protein as tolerable. I wish you the best of luck. It gets much easier when you know what is and isn't possible.
