Considering that you just went through major surgery, I'd say that was normal. If it continues to concern you, call your surgeon. It takes a while to bounce back, and at this point you are more than likely not getting very much nutrition. Give it some time. Healing varies from patient to patient.

I didn't get any energy back until I was more than a few months out and able to get my protein requirements met. Though I am the 0.001%.

As always, yer mileage may vary.

I was the same way for about one to two months after my surgery, I would fall asleep standing lolll. But it will go away...Continue taking your vitamins you will be back to yourself soon. : )

protein, fluids and vitamins faithfully!!! 12 days out was a hard point for me, the newness had worn off, no actual food was taking its toll, the mental and emotional side was going rampid. Try to rest when you can, sip, sip and sip some more, SF popsicles were a huge savior for me. Know this does not last forever, you will gain strength. I am now 6 weeks out, this past week I have felt more like my than I had in the previous 5 weeks. Try to stay focused on the full picture and remember this part will not last forever, you are in the healing stage.... Best wishes
