    Default Vitamin question

I posted this in the vitamin topic an no one has answered so thought I would try here. I have some Centrum that i just bought. How many per day are you all taking? I think they want me to take 2 but that seems very wasteful. I will also take a b-complex with it.

Good morning. Because you just had the sleeve you should be taking 2 a day (even if it is a one a day) your body needs the vitamins. Once you start eating full foods then you can have one as long long as your blood work is normal. A DR. will tell you what to do at that point. Good luck on your new journey.

I was told to get the equivalent of 2 adult multis in for the first 2 months until we can eat more variety of foods, then cut back to one.

I have chronic fatigue that is currently in remission so I take:
gummy multi - 1 am 1 pm (2 is an adult dose)
vit c gummy 2 am 2 pm (bad immune system)
    biotin 5000
flaxseed oil 3gms am 3 gms pm
bromelain 1500 mg (for joint pain)
    glucosamine chondroitin msm (joint pain)
2 reg ecotrin (yes, it's ok, it's coated and I waited 3 months)
    prevacid
    b-complex sublingual
b-1 (thiamine) 50 mg (tests at 6 mo said I was deficient)
    biosil liquid(hair and nails)
    my 2 thyroid rx's
resveratrol (heart and cholesterol) (all the good of wine, no headaches) Started this last Fall and my cholesterol is down 60 pts this year

Takes me about 20 min to get them all down - I took most of these but the vitamins presurg so not too much diff
Best NSV - fitting on a kid's amusement park ride with my 4 yr old grandson!
CFIDS =Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) Also dx with post-bariatric reactive hypoglycemia; and chronic gastritis (both sleeve complications). Permanently disabled.
Start weight 335, down to 218, up during gastritis. Have accepted there is no way to lose it with my hypoglycemia. Current weight 260. Currently doing 10 day sleeve reset and determined to get back down to my post surgical weight or close to it.

Ok - I am about to be able to start eating fruits but will take two for now.

One thing I want to point out to cowgirldiva - you have to take your multivitamin and your calcium 2 hours apart or you wont absorb the calcium.

I have been told to take 2 Bariatric Advanrtage (BA) multi vitamins, 6 BA calcium citrate tablets a day (all are chewable) one BA iron and one BA B12. it was recommended that I use Bariatric Advantage since they are made exactly to meet the needs of sleeved people. The dietician said I could take the requirements that each supplement should have to a store and it would take me hours to find those that meet my needs needs. So I just ordered from the BA website and they actually all taste good. The calcium ones are chocolate and they are a treat three times a day:-)...

BA also has a crystal you can take as a drink 2 times a day. It's super sweet though, almost like srinking a sweet tart, but for those that don't want to take all of the pills it's easier and a bit cheaper too. It has all of the vitamins you metioned with the exception of iron. They sell the iron seperate as you know and only need to be taken every other day.
