Major trapped gas problems

I am 7 weeks out from surgery and have been doing good. however, twice in the last few weeks I have had trapped gas in my tummy and NOTHING got rid of it. Tried gas-x, charcoal pills, tums with no improvement. My dr office said it was dietary but the 2nd time it happened, I KNOW it is not dietary, I havent changed my diet. Has anyone else had this problem. I was having BM fairly regularly so I didnt think that was the issue. One person suggested it wasnt gas but was my gall bladder. Any thoughts?

Gall bladder is possible and likely, but are you sure its not dietary? maybe lactose intolerance? sorry for your pain.

If the pain is severe, comes in attacks and lasts for a few hours, very well could be gallbladder. Lucky me had mine out after baby number four!

I had the most awful trapped gas in my tummy and chest the week after surgery. Peppermint tea and heat pads was my life saver. If it is trapped gas you normally get pain in your shoulder a few days after too. Keep moving as well. Moving around helps shift the gas.

I don't believe seven weeks out could be gas from surgery in your abdominal area. Shoulder pain maybe. Best you get an ultra sound of your gallbladder should you have another attack.

This is 7 weeks out, its not trapped gas from the surgery, with all the remedies u have tried u better be checked .
