Cough! Waaaah!

Hi

I have had an annoying cough since I got my sleeve on 24th March . My windpipe feels sort of furry (?). I feel a little wheezy but not like I have asthma or anything like that. I had a chest x-ray 2 days before I was discharged and everything was OK.
The cough is just tickly and annoying and makes me feel a little breathless at times.
Any ideas - or has anyone else had this problem?

I had the same problem! It was like I caught a bug during my stay in the hospital, however I think most of the problem was the fact I was a smoker up until a month before my surgery. Make sure you stay active and use the spirometer. I felt better within a week. I still have a slight cough but I find myself getting better every day. (Had my surgery March 21st) Good luck!

Lisa I had like a raspy throat and a bloody annoying tickle. Probably scratched or irritated from the tube down there during surgery. It lasted about two weeks.
No fun when you have to sing though, bring out the honey. I used to cop that ev ery time I went on stage.....took me years to like Honey again.
