I dont eat soup much because my surgeon told me to stay away from it. It slides right through. I added it to tea once which was horrid..and I also put it in with a bean/meat mixture which wasnt as bad but I could still taste it. My tastes have changed slightly since surgery and I think my tastebuds are on high alert! lol
A lot of people have trouble finding a protein powder or ready made shake that works for them. I've got a default shake which is okay but I've found it so much easier to get the protein directly from food.
I tired the unjury unflavored in G2 and it was gross. And I like the ready made Isopure drink and premier shakes and the GNC ready lean powder mixed in blender with milk and ice.
Someone else had a great idea...i think. Instead of putting a whole scoop or two in one item she put in a cup and sprinkled it on everything during the day. I might try that on a few things today and if does not work it will be going back unless it costs more to ship back. I dont think I will buy anything online any more because it makes it harder to return. I have a big 3pound powder mix from Sams Club need to try it so I can return it if it is gross.
Yeah I am with Sonja and a bit envious lol. My Dr was very strict about only liquids for 2weeks then only soft foods and soft cheese and eggs whites only, I love my egg whites hahahaha. But good for you i often wonder hwy doctors have soo many different, rules about eating after, it confuses me, i read things on here and then I send my Dr an email and he says nooooooooooooooooooo, lol I dont like noooooooooooooo. You look amazing and look like you feel well i also feel very well I keep waiting for something, like can it really be this easy lmao.
I love adding the unflavored protein powder to things. Unlike Sonja, I have never been able to taste it in anything. Remember it will clump in liquids that are too hot when you add it. You have to experiment and you will get the hang of it. I too like variety and have thrown myself into making this an adventure.
