I finally got approved over the weekend and go tonight to see the Dr. I am trying to get everything done by 7-30 to have surgery that day because my insurance is changing slightly. Now that it is that close I am getting extremely nervous. Congratulations to all of you that have had the surgery and are losing no matter how much you have lost you have lost and that is what counts. If you have any tips to offer they would be greatly appreciated. Have a wonderful day.

My Insurance made me go thru 6 months of meetings before I could have the surgery....

Hi Brian, my insurance had me go through 3 meetings, sleep study, 3 nutrionalist consults and I think that was it but my first visit with the surgeon was back in Feb. I finished all of my requirements in June and just now got the approval. I go to the dr tonight to get a date (if all goes well the can do it on 7-30) whatever tests need to be done before the surgery so I can schedule them. I was expecting to have the surgery sometime in August but with my insurance changing slightly my HR Dept is recommending it would be better before 8-1 when the change takes place. That is all fine it is just now that it is no so far away kind of excited and a little nervous at the same time. There seems to be so much useful information on here which helps. Congratulations on your lose that is great.
