6 month update

Well I had to go in for my 6 month check up a few days early, my weight was 251..my BMI was 41, down from 63 prior to my surgery.. Overall I feel great.. everyone has asked me if I would do it again and I always say yes in a heartbeat.. I have been asked to do a testimonial at some of the upcoming seminars..Kinda of nervous but exciting at the same time.. I plan on posting some before and after shots here soon..Still really do not like having my picture taken but getting braver about that..in August I can start adding some breads, rice, and pasta to my diet.. really not sure that I will do that. I have made it so long without that it does not phase me now..

WOW, you must be so proud of yourself. I am 2 weeks post of and including preop I have lost 20lbds... that I will NEVER see AGAIN. You have lost a HUGE amount of weight in a short time! Congrats!!

Happy news, always good. You go talk to those folks and WOW them with your accomplishment. PS I have stage fright so I know the nervousness, breathe deep and know your subject (which you do of course) lol

that is really good , so what is your total weight loss? So do you have problems with hair loss and energy. Well i do and i take my vitamins and do my protein shakes and drink lots of water. so i don't now what else to due.

yes i have had a lot of hair loss. My hair has always been thick so the only time I noticed it was when I brushed or washed my hair..got so fed up, i cut it all off..everyone says it looks so much better and fits my face.. I take vitamins every day..was never big on the protein shakes just because I could not find one I liked. was tired of wasting money..I make sure I eat my protein first..no slip ups on chocolate or breads..I found alternatives. Made a chocolate cake with black beans..the slice in picture was 12 carbs and we all know that there is no way we could eat all of that..so the sliver I had maybe 5 carbs if that..The internet is full of recipes to try so I am determined to try a new one each week.. My kids have started eating what I eat and are loosing weight on their own..just wish I could break them of the soda's they drink..oh well...

I started this process at 370, I was 340 the day of my surgery.. in total I am down 120 lbs..10 more lbs and I will be down 100 lbs from the surgery date weight..My coordinator tells me to go from the weight you weighed when u started this whole thing
