Default Six Days Out & Still Grateful!

It's been six days since my self-pay surgery in Mexico. I'm feeling better than I have in YEARS. So of course I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. I'm so grateful that I found the surgeon I did. This was my sixth surgery in eleven years; and it was practically painless! If not for the nausea, it would've been trouble free. (For the record, I have severe nausea after every surgery.)
I wasn't given a pain pump OR strong pain medication. I was just on tardol. For the last five years I've LIVED on Lortab EVERY day( for chronic back and neck pain). I haven't had or needed a single Lortab for a week now. I'm about to cry with joy just typing that!
So far no regrets. ( I'm hoping I haven't just jinxed myself.) God bless my wonderful surgeon, this incredible surgery, and my super helpful husband and our kids.
    LONG LIVE THE SLEEVE!!!!
