Mini goal ALMOST met..

I had surgery on March 27th and had set some mini goals. I wanted to be at 250 lbs by July 4th, I just jumped off the scale and weigh 253. So very close! I was at a standstill for a couple of weeks, but it looks like my weightloss is starting to get back on track.

Had a minor breakdown yesterday when I could not find a blouse in my closet that fit me! I'm losing more at the top than the bottom. My pants sizes have gone down by 3 sizes, but in the tops, 4-5 sizes. Have lost a full cup in my bras, and 3 sizes. I need new clothes!!! But hate to spend money on items that I may wear just a couple of times.

My next mini goal is to have lost 100 pounds by Labor Day. That gives me 2 months to lose 42 more pounds. I think that I can do it if I amp up my exercise and get in all of my water. Then I want to be under 200 by Thanksgiving.....I have not been under 200 in 20 years!

New to you stores work great, thrift store, charity shop...and all goes to a good cause. Then you candonate back the too big items to them and round and round we go. Cheers.

253 is amazing!!! Congrats on basically reaching your goal. I wouldn't get hung up on those 3 pounds.
As for clothes It's super annoying also kinda encouraging to buy a nice new piece of clothing that makes you feel good, even if in a few weeks it won't fit. I'm not saying to buy a new wardrobe obviously lol but a couple things here and there can't hurt.
I plan on having a sale one day.
