1 week out, 13 pounds down

It is my official one week anniversary of getting my sleeve. I weighed in this morning and have lost 13 pounds since my morning of, pre-surgery weigh in. Wow.

I have to say that it has been a change, a huge change. Obviously. Still drinking 3 protein shakes a day along with soup broth, water, crystal light, herbal tea, and an occasional popsicle.

The pain is just about gone, still sore but able to get up and down without the bad pain I was having before, still can't lay on my side comfortably, still taking tylenol with codeine before I go to sleep.

I am grateful that I still have two weeks off before I have to return to work. I am starting to get some walking in plus the usual activities of running a home with two children. I fatigue easily.

Looking forward to the journey ahead. Thanks for the immense support and information that I have received from everyone on this site. Very grateful.
