Have appointment with surgeon today. Surgery is on Monday and I am getting nervous. It is so good to hear other peoples answers. I don't like to drink anything nasty so I am worried about all the protein drinks and stuff I have to drink. Any suggestions on the better tasting ones?Hope I can do as good as most of you. Can't wait to start having more energy.

Just follow your doctor's instructions. I'm 8 days out from my surgery and haven't had anything nasty to drink other than the barium drink in the hospital when doing the X-ray to check for leaks. The atkins and jay robb protien shakes are good. The unflavored unjury protien powder mixes well with the broth and soup. Good luck and hope everything goes well for you Monday.
