Morning all! It's good to be back as I've not been following my regular schedule lately. Hubby's surgery went well, but the rehab is long and hard. I'm on intermittent FMLA at work and am feeling a little stressed at juggling all the new responsibilities that come with assisting my husband with some things he just can't do at this point. It will all be worth it in the end, and I tell him this is his chance at a better life like my wls was for me. We've bonded even more over our "new changes" occurring in our lives! Going back and forth to the hospital while he was there made for more difficult eating patterns and they've kind of stuck with me. I'm not in the process of getting back to a more normal pattern for me and my success.

I've been grazing way too much, and am still waiting for warmer weather to start walking again. Nice to see some familiar faces I think everyone is very surprised to see how little food will satisfy you. I shared this before but I'll share it again that when I went to the surgeon about 2 months after surgery and I said, "I'm afraid I'm not eating enough, he answered, "Isn't that why you had this surgery?" It certainly was and I continued to think about this and realized that's exactly why I did have the surgery It's a great opportunity and tool to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Purrfctangel, we missed you too. We had over 50 people last night, and it was a great group Please keep me informed about your upcoming surgery, and let me know if I can be any help or share any information that might be helpful.
I'm wondering if I'm the only one who can't "like" the responses anymore
Jerzey what a great turnout! I love being part of this ground breaking life changing group of people. I have to same bug as you to pay it forward and i haven't even had surgery yet! Morning all! It's sunny and a bit warmer in NJ today and giving a glimpse of what's to come I have been having a difficult time getting back on track since my husband's surgery. It's changed my schedule and I need to make some positive adjustments to my lifestyle. Got a new DVD tape and I'm going to start doing some exercise and soon will be adding my walking regime into the plan. I'd like to get that DVD, "Insanity", but am kind of hesitant to try that powerful of a workout... You never know though...lol...

Roberta, thanks for the wishes. You can get right back on track with some determination and thought to what's going on. It ain't easy and maintenance is not a picnic. I also can eat more quantities of food and types of foods too. I just take each day and do my best and end the day not beating myself up. I also am struggling with the exercise aspect of this journey, and the winter kicked my "ever-growing" butt PM me if you need to talk, I'd be glad to work it out with you. Nice to see you back
