    Another day to achieve.

Dave's is great, I usually get it at Sam's but it's also at Walmart. Here's a link to their products, they have about 5 g of Protein per slice which I find great since that's about all I can eat during the day (usually for breakfast or lunch).

Breakfast: 4 ozs of cottage cheese with 2 tablespoons of frozen blueberries & 5 grapes
Snack: 1/2 of salad (artichoke heart, 3 grape tomatoes, shredded chicken, tuna, roasted red peppers, dressing)
    Lunch: Rest of salad
Snack: 4 slices of cracker barrel cheese
    Dinner: Carne Asada (meat only)
    Plenty of water

These are complex carbs so im not too worried about eating one slice or two.

Carbs (complex) are not the enemy, and actually have assisted me in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I have noticed that when I don't have oatmeal or a healthy serving of vegetables or seeded grains I get more tempted to be compulsive in my food choices because I am hungry and my thinking is clouded.

    Thanks for the link!

Neither of my grocery stores carry their sprouted flour bread. I am going to see if I can special order it through them.

Right now, while still losing, I cannot be trusted around ANY carbs. I think I'm one of those folks with practically no tolerance to carbs....either that, or I just can't control myself.

Right now, I'm not craving carbs too much. I ate some bread and cookies over Christmas, not much, mind you, and I gained weight. It was a rough couple of days going through 'withdrawal'. Plus, I'm not strong enough to partake in "moderation".

I'm weighing tomorrow morning....hoping to be at goal!

Fingers crossed for you, Pam! I also do better with a little bit of complex carbs, but in the beginning I tried abstaining from them as much as possible. I'm going to look for the "Killer Dave's products and the Aldi bread also. It's a cold snow on the ground day in NJ and I am not feeling well
Had the virus symptoms last night and haven't eaten since my breakfast of yogurt yesterday AM, so I just tried a couple of tablespoons of grits at work and we shall see. Achy and feeling tired, but trying to put a couple of hours into my work day.

B: just mentioned 2 tbls. grits
L: not sure, but thinking yogurt or some soup depending on lots of things
D: written and planned was: leftover filet mignon on salad
    S: tea, tea, and water

Hope everyone has a great day and enjoys their weekend!

Pam, can I ask how tall you are so that your goal is 180lbs, was that your doc's number or yours?

I'm keeping count of protein grams on my daily entry, not too worried about calories as long as they are close to 1200 or so, according to nutritionist that's what I should be doing now. Weigh-in on the 14th. Since I start my day at 5 am and my travel time home is nearly 2 hrs a day I need to have a snack between lunch & dinner.

B: Cottage cheese, 1/2 cup if frozen blueberries (190 cals, pro 16.9g)
L: 2 Hawaiian rolls with sloppy doe & 1 slice of American cheese (510 cals, pro 36g)
S: 4 square slices of Cracker Barrel cheddar cheese (140 cals, pro 7 g)
D: Venison fajitas - meat only; cajun nut mix (339 cals, pro 42g)

I'm 5'9" (used to be 5'10", till gravity got hold of me). that goal is my goal. I picked it because that's the lightest I've ever been since I was 17 yrs old!. But now that I'm close to it, I'm thinking I'd like to see if I can get to an even 100 lbs lost! just for a minute, I'd like to know what's like to be really thin!

Thanks Pam, I'm the same height & I chose 155 myself, my doc & nutritionist said losing 100% of my excess weight I'd would be 134lbs which is totally ridiculous, I'd look like I was dying, it's bad enough that people say that I've lost enough now, lol. My doc just wants me to have a waist circumference lower than 35" so my goal is 32".

Feel better Jerseygirl! No snow here, but icy cold and have not gone out but to run a few quick errands.

PamG you are so close! My daughter is 5'10, and at 180lbs she looks muscular and fabulous, so I imagine you are there!

Here is my meal plan for today, morning through late afternoon or early evening I can be very very good at staying on track, so far so good! But afterward, I need all the powers in the universe to help me keep me accountable.

    Breakfast:

1/2 serv. Green smoothie (1 cup Power Greens, ginger, mixed berries and 16oz bottled water) 1/2 serving: 61 cals, 3 protein, 5 carbs, 0 fat

so much snow (and shoveling) this weekend!

    Today's plan:

Breakfast: 1 hardboiled egg, a piece of breakfast sausage
snack: roasted chicken, cheese chunks and nuts
lunch: leftover baked chicken stuffed with artichoke, spinach, and cheese with just a few zucchini noodles
    snack: homemade seafood salad
dinner: big mac salad (lettuce, cut up cheeseburger, sliced onion, chopped pickle, and thousand island dressing). I bought 2 sesame seed buns and plan to make them into garlic bread and chop into croutons for everyone else.

also a premier protein shake after the gym, and maybe a coffee at some point today, because i am dragging....
