Endoscopic injection of a “sclerosant” (sodium morrhuate) to shrink the stomach. Your surgeon may need to administer the injections 2 to 3 times before determining whether the process was a success. Thanks Newwoman..that is what it is called

Very interesting. I Googled the procedure. Here is an interesting link: Bariatric Times - JUN 2011
Good luck on your procedure Rylynn. Thank you for bringing this procedure out in the open.
Same reason you had the surgery ..you didn't stop eating...some habits are hard to break...but atleast I know that drinking could have been part of the problem..and trust me not everyone on here follows step by step doctors orders even you...

Surgical Weight Loss 5 Day Pouch Test
Rylynn, Your doing good on your diet and have been an inspiration to me. Of course you are my sister and you have no issues hollering at me when I do wrong and try and help me learn from your mistakes. LOL I trust Dr. Dunkin. He is #1 in the world for gastric surgery. He believes in this procedure. Its just an added tool. Remember what he said at the appointment "the stomach will stretch and this is just a maintenance procedure to help you continue with the weight loss and reach your goal".
