Default have to throw away my Vitamin D caramel calcium chews

so, i knew it, i knew it. The first and second ingredient on the bag of calcium vitamin D chews was corn syrup and then sugar. NOW, i have done without sugar for 5 months now, which is helping my weight loss. I can eat stuff that says less than 5-12 grams per serving. i choose less than 4 grams. SO, the chews had 2 grams of sugar, BUT the first and second ingredient was sugar, and I KNOW IT NEEDS to be the fourth ingredient for it not to have an effect on me. I BROUGHT THE BAG to BED WITH ME, and ate one after the other. LESSONED LEARNED: NO SUGAR FOR THE GETDOWNGIRL, so that she can truly, get down.

I was wondering what those were. They were in my take home kit from the dietician. I though they were leftover Ayds dietary candies from the 1970's.

    Good luck

I take a gummy vitamin D and two extra-strength Tums for my calcium fix every day. Tum's are just about the lowest-price calcium supplement you can take. And I take them at bedtime (other vitamins are throughout the day). It's important to take vitamin C with your multivitamin and iron, because C helps with the absorption of iron...but don't take your calcium with iron because calcium blocks the absorption of iron. And then, it helps to take vitamin D with calcium because D aids in the absorption of calcium. So the multivitamins and C in the middle of the day (away from the calcium-rich protein shakes) and the calcium (Tums) and D at bedtime. Bonus: No acid reflux or heartburn...not sure if I can say that the Tums help out with that, or if I'm just lucky, but I'm glad I don't have that issue when I lie down at night.

I only eat the free samples at GNC when I go in to get my protein powder.
Tastes just like candy to me.
My question is why are you taking a bag of anything to eat to bed?
Not sure I know about what sugar levels and such, but with your results
you must be doing something right. We all have to draw a line in the sand
    somewhere.
