alcohol after 6 weeks out??

Ok, so I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times, but I am 5 weeks out and doing fine. Is it silly to have one alcoholic beverage 6 weeks after surgery (not several drinks, just one?) a small vodka and tomato juice is what I would like to try.

I had some cranberry juice with Vodka 3 weeks after my surgery and had no problems. Then a month later went to my friends bday party at a club and got totally shitfaced with 3 mixed drinks. It used to take a lot of drinking before I was trashed, but that was before my surgery. Remember though, any beer or mixed drinks that have soda are going to make you feel miserable.

I took some cough medicine the other night and felt like I was drunk and very dizzy. I don't like feeling that way, so I don't plan on drinking for a while!

I actually had a very small glass of pink Moscato a week after my surgery...and experienced no problems...only that I felt like I had 5 drinks...Lol!
