Hello all,
I haven't been here in a long time, so all of you newbies out there- congratulations on making and taking the first step to a new you. Just to give you a little background, I had my...
I've been battling the same things. I try to keep myself in check by logging my food everyday, recording my weight daily, and exercising. It is hard. I've been in the same place for over a month.I'm...
Congratulations! You are so disciplined. I have established some bad and old habits in the past two weeks. You inspire me to get on track!
Plateaus have become my life, but I try to remind myself to enjoy each day and each part of the journey. Congratulations on your wonderful loss!
I pretty much have had an easy time as well. Lots of stalls, but you just break through them!
My 4 month experience has been to stall pretty regularly. I have had all of the same fears as well. I am currently at a stall where I have been for over a month, but my eating hasn't been wonderful...
I am losing quite a bit and throw up no matter what vitamin I take. I Am 4 months out, so hopefully it won't be much longer. Keep that protein up for sure!
I am stuck as well. And I may be snacking too much also. Let's commit together that tomorrow we will up our protein and water and watch our snacking. Let's see if one week doing this budges those...
I threw up the first three days after surgery. I thought I was going to die. It gets better. Hang in there!
O love this thread today. It is perfect. Someone told me I looked great today and asked how I did it. I told the truth..ehh partly. I said I had been working out 5 days a week since last November and...
I hit stalls every few weeks. I'm 17 pounds from my goal and am currently at another stall. I keep fearing my body is going to stop. And yet, I promised myself I would be grateful along the journey!...
First, glad everyone is ok. I live in Texas, so our Mexico stories are kind of scary and are close to home. I will pray for you future sleevers going across the border. What really sucks is that the...
I went back to work after 4 days, but everyone is different. Listen to your body and if you have the time, take it. I'm a school principal so I felt pressured to hurry back. Enjoy your healing and...
That is wonderful. I did go back to work on day 4! I threw up in the hospital because I don't handle the sleep meds well at all, but once that passed-it's been GREAT. I love my sleeve!!
Congratulations. My best advice is to not panic when you stall. It will slow down, but as long as you know you are following the plan, you will continue to do great! Congratulations again!
Thanks! I know I am falling below with both. I'm going to really try this week!
I'm 4 months out and started losing-ALOT. Thankfully, I have a ton of hair. (I will try to post a picture) I am working to do better with my protein and vitamin regimen. Hope it will help.
4 months out. It is the easiest and best gift I ever gave myself. I FEEL MARVELOUS AND LOOK IT TOO-lol (just kidding, but my confidence is sky high right now!)
Cheryl, that is a great and disciplined food plan. I'm kind of all over the place with mine. Water is the hardest part for me and I was an avid water drinker before surgery. It is getting better...
I log my food in lose it, so that is really the only reason I know the calorie count. I don't go over 1200 ever(that seems like a lot) and I am working out 5 days a week. Monday, Wednesday, Friday 3...
I'm curious to know how many calories you guys are consuming that are between 4-6 months out? I'm at another 3 week stall. I'm worried I'm eating too much, and I know I'm not getting enough protein....
I have $130 worth sitting in a drawer. I throw them up every time.
I just didn't think this would be a problem for me, but it is. I am grateful I have a lot of hair, but it is still freaking me out. I've got to keep taking my vitamins on a regular basis. Glad to...
I have a ton of hair. A ton. So....this wasn't a huge concern until recently. I am almost four months out and I'm losing a lot. I will do all of the above, although I don't tolerate the vitamins...
4 weeks can make a huge difference. Wait and see! Btw, we spent Tuesday night in NOLA. Of course I had a piece of a beignet!
