Thank you Truebody, I hope the realization of craving what you eat can help others out. The first two weeks of cold turkey will be tough. The result of doing it, Awesome!!
I just wanted to put some of my thoughts out there today, before I start on my housework. Before having this surgery I dreamt big. I thought my food issues would be taken care of for me. Big...
Keep your back to the water without turning around is how I took the first one :)
You're proud of yourself for drinking 32 oz of water in 5 hours. Or having a BM several days in a row, and having your spouse congratulate you for your BM's. My favorite thing is putting something...
I'm in the same boat, I rarely have an intolerance to any food, it's been like that from the start. I do eat much less, and I do fill up fast if I eat protien first. But its not how I thought it...
As of last night and this morning I have felt chest pain when eating soft food so I kind of feel a little better about it. I'm not cheating I'm still only getting around 600 calories, I was just...
I'm nine days out, I can eat anything. I know I shouldn't try but I've skipped ahead to soft foods, and everything I've tried has gone down fine. Steamed broccoli, any meat I've tried, sugar,...
I'm one week out, not only can I drink all the fluids I'm suppose to but I can eat quite a bit before feeling full (like a cup of food). I don't have a hard time eating anything. I tried broccoli...
I started eating like that, then I had to quit my job and the surgery had to be put off for seven months and that changed my tune. I realized I wanted to be thinner SO much more than I wanted to...
I have to admit it's been a rough few days for me. I'm home and healthy and excited to shed some pounds.
If I get questioned I plan on saying something along the line of "had a bit of food poisoning last night and my stomach is still sensitive from it" I don't plan on letting coworkers know either.
The book Mindful Eating may have the practices your looking for. Good luck with it :)
Centrum makes a chewable multivitamin/multimineral supplement:)

My husband has also always made me feel beautiful. He's called me gorgeous since we've dated. Six years, three babies, and 45 lbs later, he still walks in the door and says "hello gorgeous" I love how...
Maybe look into pregnancy yoga DVDs, they're gental as far as core training :) when you feel like you're ready for it.
I feel a snarky question deserves a snarky answer! If a was asked if I was to good for the food I'd respond with sarcasm, "that's right, I can't eat peasant food I come from a royal ancestry line"...
If I could picture easy weight loss, it would be that I suddenly loved to exercise and an hour just opened up in my schedule everyday to ensure it got done. Everyone around me would also be eating...
Thanks for your helpful responses, I think I'll go, I'll just take it easy and bring wound wash with me.
There isn't any mention of how soon I can be in a pool after the surgery. There is mention of avoiding hot tubes, but not swimming pools. How soon did you feel okay to submerge your body?...
I've had to put my process on hold for a few months. However it's now back on track, I'm SOOO ready to finally get my sleeve! Best of luck to you!!
I noticed not much grain is in the everyday diet, will that cause kidney stones to form? I just read about it last semester in health class, does anyone know if that's correct?
I haven't been sleeved, but trying hard to lose weight with lean protein and low carbs, I use greek yogurt on many things. Its become my mayo, sour cream, and many other replacements for me.
