Re: Glad to be joining a group of Winners!

    Hey Pam!
    Welcome!
It's normal to be scared, I was sleepless for days before surgery. But so far, a very good decision, my life is so much easier today!

  4. Re: Do articles like this piss anyone else off?

    Re: The Party is Over!!

Many people will face a stall at week 3. It's perfectly normal. Low energy at that stage is often because of dehydration. Focus on your protein and water intake, you will be fine. Don't focus on that...

    Re: Belch!

I had the worth hiccup for six months post-op. If I was hungry, if I was full, sometimes I just couldn't identify the why. Anyway, one day, without notice, it was gone. It won't stay, don't worry.

From surgery up to 6 months out I was always careful to drink 30 minutes before and after a meal. Never with the meal.

I often have cravings around TOM, usually one week before. I mostly crave sweets, so I would have one square of dark chocolate but only after I had protein first (one boiled egg for example) or...

Re: Slight fever 5 days after surgery

I was told when I left the hospital to contact them asap in case of a fever. I had a stomach flu around 2/3 weeks post-op, went back for tests. I was fine at the end but better safe than sorry!
  15. Re: Scales, infant spoons and insulated coffee mugs! Oh my!

I had nothing to buy on the kitchen side because I already have everything possible...I think the most expensive for me was all the vitamins/supplements or even protein powder.
