Of course it was reported. Let's ask why? And you found it necessary to come and try to discredit the original poster by saying, [paraphrase] "Oh by the way guys, there's more to the story...read...
@Mediahound You are admin, correct? Are you in charge of handling disputes on this site. Perhaps I should go and read the rules of the site again.
This young lady did send me a message earlier...
This is somewhat of a debate. Some surgeons say you can stretch it, others say no. From the research I have done, I believe you cannot stretch it. The part of the stomach that is removed is called...
That's awesome. I can tell how happy you are from your post.
Congrats on your success. Keep up the good work.
Yes, they are making sure you know how serious this is and they also want to know that you don't think it is a magic bullet. Additionally, they want to know you have support and that you are...
Congratulations. Hope your journey is a great one!
Awesome! Very happy for you.
I'm 7 weeks out, so fairly new to this sleeved side. I have not thrown up but yesterday I ate a 3oz chicken cutlet and one bite of hummus. My tummy hurt afterwards. You will get to know your new...
Totally agree. Thanks for posting.
90 grams of protein is great. Congrats on your surgery....
I think they are delicious. And with a side of fruit...totally healthy. :)
I will add this. Yes, Dr. Almanza has performed many successful surgeries. Unfortunately, there is a risk with any surgeon. I'm happy for those of you who had great experiences.
Now, I think...
Okay, I didn't plan on posting anything else on this thread and this will be all I do, but I will say this. This woman has already asked that her account be deleted. After people addressing her...
This forum is supposed to be for everyone to share their experiences and to gain knowledge if they are looking at WLS.
It is really discouraging to everyone to see such ugly responses from...
Congrats. I hope it goes smoothly for you. Best wishes for your journey.
I am not an expert but this is my experience: At one time my PCP suggested the HCG diet. (I no longer go to that PCP, and in fact, he was only my PCP for that one visit, then I decided he was...
If it gets worse when lying down, I think it is acid squeezing up. Tell your doc and get some acid controller meds down. I had a few days where I could "feel" my tummy spasming but it wasn't that...
Did he say it has popped or will pop?
My surgeon (and some others) perform a deep stitch into the muscle at the extraction site. It is very painful and can take up to 6 weeks to "pop", which it...
I recommend asking your surgeon about a more potent acid controller. The acid in your tummy really makes you feel like you are starving.
It does get much better. Hang on!
Also, the hunger is very likely the acid. I had to change to Pepcid, twice a day. Make sure your surgeon knows about this. The acid can make you feel like you are starving.
What one's have you tried? I like the Premiere Protein which can be bought at Sam's Club. It has 30 grams of protein. Also, the Unjury (order online) chicken broth is pretty good, and the warmth...
Congrats... :)
I hated that stage. I'm not too far out but I was surprised at the hunger I was feeling which I concluded was more acid than hunger. Make sure you take your acid reflux meds until you are healed. ...
Cool beans! (I know, that's so 80s....oh well). Thanks.
