I would say I'm on a diet and change the subject. I wouldn't discuss it beyond that. Under any circumstances.
There is NO WAY I would allow my personal life to become the topic of conversation.

Oh gosh no. I was too focused on getting done, and avoiding complications. As miserable as liquid diets are, I was willing to do just about anything to cure my obesity.

Don't think short term. DON'T focus on the one month out of your life! Think only about your struggles being behind you- and your healthy future.

This is totally normal and will pass after a few weeks. There is no reason you can't take chewable vitamins or gummies if you want to.

I was exhausted for about 6 weeks post op. I barely got out of bed for the first 2 weeks. I slept all day, and after that, I still needed a mid-day nap for another few weeks.
