I have heard the Hotel Pueblo Amigo was nice but it sounds like you were surrounded by too much noise! I'm sorry to hear that! I am sorry your experience was less than great. Sounds like you were...
So happy for you! Sounds like things are going well!
Congrats! Only 8 lbs to go! You have done well!
You guys who say it isn't acid, have you made sure with a REAL PPI like Prilosec and not just something like tums or acid chews? Those won't cut it. You have to try a real PPI like Prilosec to get...
It really just depends. Some lose slow but I've seen a few lose really fast! It just depends on commitment, luck, age, metabolism, and etc.
Hugs to you. I am very sorry you went through this. Please keep your head up and remember you are strong.
Congrats on getting below 200! Your dedication to this journey is inspiring. You will keep seeing that scale drop I'm sure!
I had no pain either. I too felt guilty because a couple of people had some really bad nausea.
But I do want to add that anyone who has this surgery--I do wish you the best! I think some people have good results--but in my eyes it was just not up to par with the sleeve at all.
I have heard a lot of problems with this surgery. The stomach tissue left over can have what is called "necrosis" which is dead tissue because the stomach tissue is not removed--it is merely folded...
How are all you guys doing with your weight loss now? Just thought I'd bump an old thread to get some old timers back on the forum.
I had Louise during everything and she was pretty good. She didn't always reply back within 24 hours but she did at least attempt to keep in touch with me. The new people they have--I have no idea...
Mrs Stig your surgery is in 2 days!! Keep us updated
I had a 32F bougie when I had surgery and I too thought it was sooo small. Now at 9 months after surgery I am glad he didn't make it any bigger!
Hey guys. One thing I'm curious about with this doctor--what sie bougie does he use? I have already been sleeved but I do have people ask me for opinions on Mexico surgeons.
Wow, it sounds like she scammed him and came on here to cover her butt before the story got out that she gave a canceled check for services. However, that was not the brightest thing she could do. As...
Wow you look great!
Yay meeeenooo!!!
The doctor I went to was fine but there were some other issues that went on so I'm not comfortable recommending my particular doctor. The surgery itself was good though. In hindsight, I probably...
Hi there! Welcome aboard! I am from the Austin area and went to Tijuana, MX for my sleeve. I thought about Alvarez but he was just out of my price range. I have heard great things about Dr. Kelly...
Even now at 9 months post op a restaurant meal can last me for a few days. I usually eat a bit of the appetizer and then I'm too full for the main course.
At 9 months out, I still on rare occasion have the slimies. I didn't have them for a long time but I overdid it the other day and paid for it. Nice to know my sleeve still works. I didn't eat very...
Well I've always enjoyed reading your posts and you are always uplifting and funny and cool. I think that just regrouping and getting your head back in the game by coming here every day is perfect....
