My Dr's nurse called today - my ejection fraction is 87%! Apparently, I was the talk of the office yesterday as this was the highest number that my surgeon has ever seen! I have a consultation with...
I've had 3 occasions of intense pain in my right side under my ribs. Two times in August, and once in September. When I went to my 3 year check up I told my doctor about them, and she had me lay...
I don't do any of these things - but I sure am going to start. I've been really stressed out about lots of things going on and I've not been dealing with any of it well. You sound like you've got a...
Hi ! Just wanted to say I'm still doing great. Sticking right around 171 - which for my height is just under obese on bmi chart. I'm officially just overweight! Yay! Going back to gym now 3...
The advantage of having the sleeve is that what we eat is suppose to be absorbed - so that's not the issue. Sounds like your really active, and following the plan that your doctor gave you. No one...
It's crazy isn't it! It is a lot of work to go swimming now... I still enjoy it but I'm thinking of buying a pool noodle so I can rest once in awhile! :)

I used Dr Diaz at St Vincent Carmel. I have friends who have Evanson - but they are both having the Roux. I've heard great things about him. :)
Your tummy is still healing - don't push it. If your in pain, or notice your meal sizes don't increase in a few months - talk to your doctor. Sounds totally normal to me.
Awesome! Welcome to the loosers bench! :)
It doesn't sound like a bad thing - I'd be game to try it. Just don't be shocked when you get on the scale tomorrow - I'm sure it would be up from the fluids. Let us know how it goes :)
Also try taking the pills with something warm. It loosens your throat and it's less likely to get stuck. I even went as far with one my really large pills to coat it in olive oil and then swallow it...
Yay everyone! I love this!
*toot* I ran intervals of 3.2 and 5.0 on the treadmill last night and got my fastest time ever - 14:10! (May still be a crawl compared to others - but I've never moved...
I love this as well! Some of my jewelry from before is huge and I really need to purge it from my inventory - but other things, that were too small before, are now perfect and I love them! So fun!
Thanks gals! I wasn't sure when I first got it cut...but i love it now! :)
I'm wearing a shirt that my secret sister bought my last year. When she gave it to me I was SO offended. It looked like a shirt that would fit a child. I took it and threw it in my drawer and...
Your doing fine. Take note that you may drop a bunch of weight these first 2 weeks - then nothing the 3rd week or so. It's normal!!!! Just make sure your getting your fluids and protein in - and...
My hair loss started at 4 months as well, and I had hair half way down my back. It got thinner and thinner and seemed really brittle. I was getting my protein in, but it wasn't enough. In March I...
