Sure. If you just search fainting at the top of the page.... there will be links to several threads. You aren't the only one. I did it as well :)
I am so proud of the past 2 vacations I took in September.... I went on a week-long Caribbean cruise... came home for a week and then spent 5 days in Las Vegas. Now the cruise was new to me... but...
Good Grief Rock22.... So glad you are ok! That shouldn't happen to anyone... much less someone who is recovering from surgery!
I'm a bit over six months out. I didn't lose any curves... just went down a cup size in the bra... but my waist is super defined. I have a blog that you can follow online if you wish. Also I have...

I think you are right on track as well. We had our surgeries 2 days apart - and last week I dropped 7 lbs. I usually only lose about 3 lbs in a week.
Congrats on your progress:)
I was actually on vacation during the mushies. LOL
So - My fallback was soup, hummus and refried beans. I made it thru. Don't try to go to solids too early... you WILL get sick. Trust me......
Great post! Thank you so much.
And I have not had another fainting spell since :)
Hugs to everyone!
Danielle
Morning of surgery for me too....
My new found love is ground turkey burger patties and salmon burger patties. I just eat the patty (actually not all of it - the doggies are LOVING the leftover bites these days!)
Speaking from personal experience... You are going to want to have water handy. You can't just "catch up" on your hydration after gastric sleeve. I posted something very similar to this earlier...
Careful with the indomethacin - it is an NSAID.
From the national institutes of health:
NSAIDs such as indomethacin may cause ulcers, bleeding, or holes in the stomach or intestine. These...
I post my weekly weight on my blog to keep me honest. Here is a copy of that page:
293 - Highest Weight Ever (2/2009)
291 - PCP visit on 11/2010
285 - Weight before Liquid Diet (1/27/11)
272 -...
Yep... it happened...
I fainted in public... at the mall... and hit my head on the marble floor.
I'm ok - but was very embarrassed. I'm ok now :)
Read my blog for details... and to see...
I'll be the first to admit it... I though I was crazy - but my memory has lapsed a little bit. Mostly short term memory... someone tells me something trivial... I forget it and ask again the next...
Tonya -
I completely agree - the rudeness was uncalled for. Ranchersdaughter - thank you for answering the question.
I also have been sleeved. I first intended keeping the surgery a secret. ...
I did a 12 day liquid diet and lost 11 lbs.
@ bluejay- for handling gas.... just walk walk walk. That's the only way it will move out of your system.
@ backtolife - congrats! We'll make more room on the losers bench for you! :)
I am 6 weeks out. I had a crazy plateau around weeks 4-5 because I was barely eating 500 calories a day. I upped my calories to 700-800 a day and the scale is moving again... losing nearly a half...
I struggled with consuming the minimum amount of calories. I am currently 6 weeks out and reaching for about 700 calories a day. I just posted on my blog about how I became overly freaked out and...
Houston here :)
Time to make room on the Loser's bench for Deb! Let us know when you are up and about :)
I think it depends on your surgeon. I never had a drain at all.
