I think the furthr u get frm whn u had surgery the easier it gets but i can swallow like 2-3 gulps then i have to wait the i can repeat... Cold liquids still are harder to swallow tho thn heated...

I take Zantac at night so i dont get acid reflux but unless i eat something thatl churn up the heat in my tum i dnt need anything... But i do keep prilosec in cupboard just in case a fire needs to be...

Oh i forgot to add..... My Dr had me Bring my CPAP with me... To hospital!!. theres no such thing as blowing out staples in Stomach air goes into Lungs NOT stomach otherwise we'd all be Mass Farting...

I have a set my own CPAP cause i ordered machines on my own thru internet after first inital machine my original was set at 12 but with the others i had bumped it to 13 then back down to 11 now......

Hey ;0). I was diagnosed with sleep apnea in '03 an was sleeved May 12,'11.... I still use my CPAP . It runs in my family too but its only obstructive due to weight... But i use to hold my breath...

I am 5 months out an at 77 lbs lost an occassionally i do get Acid flare ups..... An at times it doesnt matter what it is i eat or drink including water... But Zantac generally works,but some times...
