Here is a bit of my info. I started this journey on 10/20/2011. I started off at 260 and got down to 149 (I'm 5'6 and a half)in 7 months. I felt awesome at that weight, but had a few comments on...

Re: Long term sleevers and WEIGHT GAIN???

I am 3 years out as of 10/20. I lost all of my weight in the first 7 months. So by may of 2012 until Christmas of 2013 I stayed at my weight-or within 2-3 pounds. Then BAM! 15#'s found me. I...

Re: I'm just beside myself and want to cry

Please don't give up. Also, I don't think 50 grams of protein a day is not enough. I had a Dr. tell me once at least 75 grams a day. Be kind to yourself. It will get easier.

    Re: Pancakes anyone?

I use this pancake recipe: Put 1 c. dry oatmeal in blender. Whiz it into powder form. Add 1 c. cottage cheese, 3 egg whites (I use the carton type) and mix it all up. Add 1 tsp. cinnamon and 1...

  10. Re: Its been 18 months since my sleeve and I have questions!!

I am coming up on 19 months post op. I was one of the lucky ones who lost all of my weight in 7 months. I have maintained my weight for the last year. I weigh myself daily-I also exercise for an...

Re: What do you guys eat for breakfast???

Protein shake or I have a great bran muffin recipe. It has 115 calories, 20 carbs, 5 protein and 5 fiber. Maybe not enough protein for some, but one is very filling and I am 1.5 years out. I...

It is good to know that I am not the only one this happens to. I always just remind myself "today is a new day" and now I can start over. You have done great...keep reminding yourself of this.

    Re: Calories Burned by Exercise

Here are my thoughts...I am 17 months out. I was one of the fortunate ones...I never had a stall and lost all of my weight in 7 months. That being said...I am an avid exerciser. I strive for an...

    Re: Gallbladder Blues

You will be fine. I had mine out 5 months to the day after my sleeve. It didn't set my weight loss back. I just couldn't exercise strenuously for a bit. Best of luck to you.

    Re: wondering about diet pills..

Get your sleeve, focus on good eating habits and exercise and the weight loss will happen. I don't think ANY kind of diet pill is good for you.
