still about 2-3 oz. Depends on what I'm eating and how fast. Cheese and yogurt I can usually get down 4-6oz, but most other proteins it's still 2-3. Difference is I can usually get a little carb...
Congrats! Who did your surgery?
Alright everyone, I have been AWOL for quite awhile now, but things have been great. It's crazy to think that this time last year, I was scheduling my final visits with my surgeon, and getting on...
Ok, so this has been a really crappy week (no pun intended). Both f my little ones and I ended up with the stomach flu, but this morning everyone woke up feeling great. I went for my weekly weigh in...
Don't know if I did this correctly621
Congratulations Bob! I was sleeved the day before you, and I remember your posts. You look fantastic! I have another 20lbs to go to hit that magic number, and can't wait to get there. So happy...
Hi Marie, I had about 120lbs to lose, and it has not been a problem for me. I lost 30lbs prior to surgery, and have lost another 50 since. I'm 4 months post op, and have another 40lbs to go to...
I think most of us are in the same boat. I decided I didn't want to add "another" medication to my regimen, so I've stayed away from the stool softeners, but I find that the more hydrated I stay,...
Hey all. I'm wondering if anyone has used nioxin shampoo to help battle hair loss. If so, do you find that it worked?
Diane I am so happy for you! Welcome to onederland. It's nice to have some company :)

Hi Sue,
I'm so sorry to hear that you are having such a rough time. I'll answer the questions as best I can. FYI, I'm week 11 right now, with a total of 37lbs lost since surgery and 67 total....
Congrats Diane. I know we had the same starting weight. I hit it 2 weeksago, and what an amazing feeling! Keep up the good work. You rock girl.
so sorry to hear about your complications. I wish I had words of wisdom, but I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.
I can totally appreciate your situation. I was probably about 1 week into soft foods, and decided that I would just die if I didn't have a bagel. I proceeded to slab on some cream cheese onto half...
So, without getting totally graphic, can I ask what everyone is doing for their fiber solution?
So I just need to share. I'm six weeks out,a nd after getting on the scale yesterday, I am down 23 lbs since surgery, and 53 lbs since I started this journey. So ultimately what does this mean for...
Hi cheryl,
I was sleeved on January 17th, and I know what you are talking about. Fortunately for me it only lasted 1 week. It happened the week that I started eating soft solids. I only lost .2 of...
Sending prayers and good vibes her way
I tOtally get it. The first two weeks after my surgery I went into nesting mode and started making all these great meals, filled with different spices and textures and flavors. I warned my family...
I do eat with my family. At first I drank my shakes and as I move into solid foods, I either take a much smaller portions, or I bring my own food to the table. I have 2 little ones and we all value...
Bob I'm right there with you. I started "powering up" my protein shakes. I do one scoop of 100% whey from Costco (chocolate). I mix it with skim milk instead of water, add a tablespoonful of peanut...
A lot of times you can ask them to split it in the kitchen for you as well. That way it comes to the table in a to go box and you don't even have to look at it.
Be careful with the protein shots. According to my doctor, even though it says 24g of protein, it's not all whey, and the amount of actual protein you are getting is only something like 5g. I was...
