    DO NOT WEIGH EVERY DAY! My mother who has bypass 5 years ago told me never to buy a scale. Go with how you feel, and if you feel you are not losing, evaluate your routines and activities change them....

    Well my mother who had gastric bypass 4 years ago and lost 150 lbs insists that I can eat real butter. I do not have high cholesterol and no family history of it. But I do watch my fat intake.

    Yes I am doing my pre-op diet now. Just loaded up on Bariatric Advantage shakes. Thankfully I can have up to 6 a day so I'm not hungry!
