    Re: Watermelon!

I actually dice up watermelon really small and add it to my Greek yogurt. I am a huge texture person and it gave me the crunch I was missing from the liquid and puréed foods. It's a great treat.

I believe that every surgeon goes on experience to make things as safe as possible for no leaks and long term success. My surgeon is very conservative like yours. I had a "pre-op diet" of 2 wks 4-5...

I typically am around 600-800 calories a day. Today was high at 783 but I also got in 73g of protein (all from foods no powders). Menu today was:

Re: 3 Weeks post-op with regrets

I too struggled 3 weeks out. I couldn't do the "artificial protein" in shakes and had to get all protein by foods I ate. I was complete liquids for 4weeks and just transitioned to soft and mushy. My...
  11. Re: Question about length of pre-op diet (2 week protein shakes)

I had a pretty conservative surgeon and was on the pre-op for 14 days. He said the object is to shrink the fat around the liver for optimal visibility/maneuverability. I had to stay under 800...
