Thanks everyone!!! I'm still in Tijuana (I traveled with 4 friends who were all sleeved on the 12th).
Loose skin hasn't been much of a problem. The worst area is probably my arms, but it's not ba...
I love this pic! 11/5/2011-4/12/2013
Sorry to hear that :(
Yogurt, pudding, and laughing cow cheese were my best friends when I was having to sneak snacks during meeting breaks!
I did not have mine removed at the same time, but wish that I had. I feel like my gallbladder is a ticking timebomb!
I just saw Debbie (literally 2 minutes ago... we work for the same agency) and she said her friend (your aunt) went with her when she had her surgery with Almanza. That IS a small world!
Thank you, Tom! Good luck today!
Txbluebonnet: I know a lady from Picayune who went to Almanza... is your aunt's name Debbie? I wish I could say I exercise more, but I don't. I haven't done...
This will make 9 total who have gone as a direct result of me. Wow! I'm so happy for all of them.
I still deal with those residual "food addict" behaviors. I'd love to dive face first into an enormous burger and savor every bite while the endorphins flowed. But I can't. I still have days when...
Thanks, ink!

I had the gastric sleeve on 11-5-2011 with Dr. Almanza. Best decision EVER. I still have lots of restriction, but it does take some effort to get enough calories in per day to hold off additional...

Thanks, guys!
I'm still surprised when I see myself in pics! It's the only time the weight loss seems real
...
I'm pretty sure I was around 8 wks out when I braved salad the first time.
How's it going? (Yes, I'm resurrecting an old thread). I started P90X on Monday, looking for some sleevers in the same boat!
Yes. when I'm eating something that I haven't had in a while and it tastes really, really freakin delicious... I tend to forget to chew.
My hair loss just started a few weeks ago (around 4 months post op)... it was an ungodly amount of hair coming out at once. I had an emotional breakdown while brushing it one day, convinced that I...
Awesome!! I have plans to start HIIT soon... hoping it'll help break this 3 week stall. I've had great success with it in the past. You're doing a fantastic job!
I'm 5'8. My goal weight is based on my weight from a few years ago. I'm between a size 6 and 8 at 150 lbs
I'm 5'8 and aiming for 150. That's a very comfortable weight for me. The lowest I've been was 135 and I was downright bony.
Congrats on 60 lbs! There's nothing more frustrating than a stall, but the feeling of elation when it finally breaks is second to none!
