Re: A little late, but 1 year!!

You are doing great. It takes a while for your head to catch up with everything. I'm almost there. I have stopped calling myself fat. :) One step at a time.

Re: A little late, but 1 year!!

My doctor gave me a 36, but looked at me funny that I even asked him about it. He said the difference between a 34 and 36 is about half a bite. He was a really good guy, so I won't question him....

A little late, but 1 year!!

My one year was 2/6. I am beyond busy and don't always have time to get on here and say hi. Life gets moving faster after the surgery and though that is a good thing, I do miss talking to everyone.

Re: 30 inch waist? Am I skinny now?

I was a 42, and some of those were too tight to wear, so right around your size. I'm 6ft, if that helps you picture me a little better.

Thanks again for all the comments. I will try to feel...

Foods that will pass through your stomach quickly or things that you can eat a lot of before feeling full. Typically these are carb rich foods.

Examples are usually chips and popcorn. Looks at a...

Re: 30 inch waist? Am I skinny now?

I think you are right, I don't look solid with my shirt off and I think that causes me to feel fat. I don't have terrible skin problems, but it's enough that it messes with my head.

30 inch waist? Am I skinny now?

As many of you know, we have no clue if we are still fat, skinny, chunky or what. I have lost a lot of weight, but I still feel fat.

I often go to the store and see what size I can fit in, just to...

    Re: I Lost What Update!!

I have lost 8,255 nickles. No wonder I feel poor. lol

Ace, that is amazing. For your split math, you have lost 2 horses that are two months old and a moped. Wow, or as you said, two people.

    Re: Hungry

Probably. Just try to survive. The pre op diet is harder on some than going through the surgery. Hang in there.

    Re: Question??

The pre op diet is not meant to be a long term thing, so you will be miserable doing it for any length of time. It's more important to start eating less and start eating healthier foods.

    Re: Congratulations Nate!

Is this to me? I saw Nate and thought, hmmm, who else is Nate so I opened it.

I am below goal, who would have thought that would ever happen? Not me.

You will be there soon enough.

Re: SCARS - can you get them "fixed"

At ten months my scars are very small. One is about a half inch long, but the rest look like tiny holes where I have had moles removed. As your stomach gets smaller, so do your scars. Most of us lost...

I was there for three nights because I couldn't drink enough for them to let me go. They said I could leave as soon as I got in 2 ounces every half hour. So funny how that was so hard to do.
