Hi Catherine, I'm in the uk and have only just registered with this site. I know what you're saying, in that it definitely seems very US based lol. How have you found things after your op? Looks as though you have had a great start. I'm soooo looking forward to my op on the 4th March .

I'm totally new and been reading everyones lovely posts!I'm a UKer and from glasgow and I've just been for my consultation,thinking about booking with mr.halstead as he's had 0 leaks!which I like the sound of!anyone else out there new or thinking of going with mr halstead or have had him???

hi not long now till your op are you excited or just plain nervous? i'm going for my preop seminar on tuesday and i'm nervous about that!

Great Thanks, It was just the seminar and weigh in but they told us apparently we were the last to be referred by GP and in future it would be a specialist weight loss clinic, of which there are 0 in Co. Durham, Typical isn't it! So I have three months to lose 5kg or more, then appointment with Surgeon to discuss and we are off! Still waiting for the appointment date in the post. Bet you are getting excited/nervous now Geordie Lass. not long to go.
