I have one more thing to go through before I get my surgery date. I have to have my EGD done. How is it? Any pain? Did yall feel anything? Did Thanks they put you under? How long was it? Any advice would be great.

So with my EGD, it was super easy and I didn't feel anything afterwards. I was put under anesthesia and I woke to find my surgeon had actually taken a biopsy and I never felt a thing, lol. I had read that if a biopsy was done I would probably feel pain later but I didn't. Very easy peasy. Good luck with yours as you enter this final step.
I had my EGD yesterday. It was a piece of cake. They give you some IV sedation and you drift off to sleep and wake up in recovery. The procedure took about 15 mins and. I experienced no pain. Hope that answers your questions!
My experience was much like the others above.
IV sedation, woke up in recovery. Doc said he found some polyps in my stomach and biopsied them, but since they were in the part that was getting cut out anyway, he wasn't worried. Also diagnosed a hiatal hernia, which was repaired during the sleeve.
Did throw up on the way home, and throat was very sore.
Overall no problem, back at work the next day.
My scale and I have a love/hate relationship:
it loves to tell me I'm fat; I hate & ignore that rude POS.

I had the TN-EGD where they go through your nose and you're completely awake for it. Was no big deal. They sprayed something in my nose to numb it a little and stuck the camera into my nose down into my stomach. No pain at all even for being awake. Was over and done in 10 mins. Luckily I had no hernia or anything to be concerned about for surgery.
