Default Celebrate vitamins..powder in a sleeve.

I bought these from my doctors office .. Powder in a small sleeve .. Contains my daily fiber as well as biotin for us worried about hair loss .. Not named after my hospital .. Celebration ..
Pour packet in 6-8 oz of water .. Love everything that is in it for the convenance ... Do not really like the taste .I got cran-grape..there are other flavors but I guess since they do not make me sick I will sip,sip ,sip my way through until I am ready for the chewables that we got as part of our program fee..
I got my fluid intake for the day as well as my protein .. So jut got to sis ,sip ,sip through these vitamins ..

I mix powdered vitamins in no bake treats like granola bars (they are super easy to make) that way you dont taste them and you are still getting them in. I use this site for the recipes:

I know you're on "real" food yet but this is a great way to keep getting the things we need after the initial stages ( i am terrible at remembering to take them )

I haven't looked much into vitamins, are there bariatric ones? Does anyone take pregnancy ones for iron and folic acid? What should I be looking for? I did buy biotin for hair loss. Help.

I took centrum chewables from day 2 as advised by my program and kept on them until I hit solid food. Then I added sublingual B12 and biotin. These days I take an AM/PM formula that comes in capsules and has everything I need in it. The price tag seems a little steep until you remember everything you're not buying in addition to the multi.

Yes, there are bariatric vitamins. Unjury has a vitamin business as does Bariatric Advantage. My program said they were geared more for people who have had bypass versus sleeve. Like everything else, it's ultimately your decision, so test things out and do what's right for you!

    Laura,

What was the all inclusive AM/PM you bought?

The fewer pills I have to keep track of taking, the better! That's one thing I don't have to do right now, but will after surgery. If I can keep it to 1 pill twice a day, that would be awesome!

Also - is the Biotin prescription? Many here have mentioned taking it to ward off hair loss - so I looked for it @ CVS. Saw Biotene shampoo, but not the Biotin.

    thanks!

    Lolo,

Bariatric Advantage has a prenatal kit - it's pricey though.

I bought the Celebrate brand powder from my doctors office . You can buy it on line .it is a bit cheaper but you have to buy in larger quantity and may have shipping cost .. It has everything I need in it including my fiber and biotin.
Not crazy about the taste . I only bought enough for 2 week so I will finish it . I do like that it contains everything though .
I also saw Biotin shampoo at GNC .. Has anybody tried it .. Just was not sure it was worth the cost if it would do my good since you wash /rinse it off.
