Stomach Noises?!?!?!
My stomach is making strange, loud noises tonight! Had a difficult time getting dinner down. I felt a little pressure like I needed to belch, but every time I tried it felt as if my food was going to come back up. I promise I didn't over eat! As soon as I get that full feeling I stop. That's usually about 3-4 oz. But now, 2 hours later, my stomach is making loud rumbling noises and I keep going back and forth to the bathroom. HELP!!!!!!

Re: Stomach Noises?!?!?!
I was like that up until 3 days ago at some point I didn't even want to eat because I was scared of doing something to damage the sleeve pouch. I don't know if it has to do with certain foods or if it's because the pouch is not swollen anymore but I haven't feel it for the past 3 days and I almost forget about it until you mention it. I wish I could have been more help but all I can say is hang in there hopefully it will go away soon.

Re: Stomach Noises?!?!?!
Well, I'm almost 8 weeks out and my stomach gurgles a lot. Especially when I'm eating cottage cheese or yogurt. It can make so much noise that someone within 5 or 6 feet of me can hear it. I would say if you have a concern, check with your doctor's office just to be on the safe side. Good luck.

Re: Stomach Noises?!?!?!
My stomach is constantly noisy. It bubbles, girgles, and rumbles. It doesn't matter if I'm hungry, full, drinking, or not drinking. It's just a noisy bugger these day. And it's LOUD... I'm a loan officer, and it's happened a couple times while I'm closing a loan. Talk about embarrassing. I swear people must thing I'm bloated or have diarrhea because those are the type sounds sometimes. That's just how my stomach is these days.

Re: Stomach Noises?!?!?!
Same here, but it's off and on. Enzymes like papaya, bromelian and probiotics are helping. I am thinking most of our good germs in our bellies got messed up by surgery and it may be a long while before balance is restored. Also, could be new food intolerances. I can't touch whey protein even though I lived on it pre-surg, and milk products, except yogurt aren't working either.

Re: Stomach Noises?!?!?!
I hear my tummy bubbling at night when i'm laying in bed at night and everything's quiet. It happens most nights, it doesn't hurt or anything so i figured it was normal.

Re: Stomach Noises?!?!?!
Hi everyone! If you have the noises or that gurgling sound (like bubbles) it is a sign of inflammation. Make sure you are taking some antacids and if you you can buy Prilosec OTC and take twice a day for 15 days. It will go away. Actually you'll feel better too! The sleeve may get swollen once or twice a year and this is all you need to do. If you don't live in the US let me know to see what options you have in your country. Hope this helps.
regards to everbody!

Re: Stomach Noises?!?!?!
SOOOO GLAD YOU BROUGHT THIS UP!!! I would look at my husband and say "DID YOU HEAR THAT?" It seems to have let up a little. I just figured my stomach was getting used to itself. SO far I am lucky with no reactions to anything. I feel a little like Dorothy following the yellow brick road!!!! :) Seems like EVERYTHING IS NEW!!!

Re: Stomach Noises?!?!?!
I am 4 months after my surgery. My stomach does that when I have eaten something my pouch doesn't like.
