I would so love to know what your post-op diet consisted of! Please!
I know that every doctor is different, and I am fine with that. But I really would like to know what you were allowed for 1-2 days, 2-7 days, 7-14 days. Were you allowed pureed foods after the first week or the third? My doctor won't allow jello until day 15. That just seems so harsh. I would love a good way to get my protein in. The pre-made shakes are not working for me, and I don't think I will be able to keep the next one down. The shakes sr best you will never be able to eat enough bean or eggs to reach the amount you need in a day. I'm still having trouble and Tom almost 3 months out. I still take a shaken daily for breakfast 30 grams. A good protein shake is the premier protein at costco tied god and I mix fruit and veggies in it in my neutral bullet. Mmmm good.

I am 2 weeks out. The day after surgery I was allowed water only. 1 oz/hour. Treo days after surgery I was allowed Crystal Light. 1 oz/15 minutes. When I tolerated that I was allowed to progress to Carnation Instant Breakfast. After discharge I have been allowed pudding, jello, applesauce, ricotta cheese and mashed potatoes as well as milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, and popsicles. S all sugar free and low fat. I'm on this diet until I see the surgeon for my first follow up on Wednesday. I hope to be put in soft food then. I'm sick of pudding!
