After all this time

I'm not even sure if anyone can properly address my problems but I am at a place where I need to do something to figure it out. I'm coming up on two years out from m surgery and yet I still feel like a big, fat cow! I'm now in a size 2 and have been told I have "disorganized eating". How is it possible that what everyone else sees and what I see are completely different? I am doing my best to focus on protein but quite frankly lately I'm just exhausted and when people tell me it looks like I'm starving myself to death it makes me wonder????

It's not like I want to be fat again but I have to wonder what I have done to myself? 2? That is freaking ridiculous but yet I look in the mirror and see fat.I now consider myself a fat anorexic. What the heck is that?

I wouldn't change havving the surgery I just wish I could better understand what I am going through now. I feel lost in a world of confusion that I signed up for.

P.S. I don't know how to change my tracker. I am down over 170 pounds from my original weight!

I think you need to see a counselor before this gets out of your control. I really wish you the best.

It's called body dysmorphic disorder - what you see in the mirror is not what is actually seen by others. You do need to see a mental health professional to help you work your way thru this. It really isn't unusual to get stuck seeing with our fat glasses - but it depends on the degree. Good luck with this - you can be helped

Rox is right... that's the same thing that Anorexics "see". They don't see that size 2 or less and still think that they are fat. You've lost a tremendous amount of weight.... both your body AND your psyche has to catch up with it. If you need some help accepting the new you, please seek it.........you need to learn to love and enjoy the new you!!!! Good luck!

I think its already WAY OUT OF CONTROL. Serious ISSUES.

I going to echo everyone else. I'm two years out this month, I'm not at goal...sounds like you reached your goal but still see a weight problem. I'm going to say a prayer for you, I really hope you will get a counselor, they really do help!
