6 months after! New and Improved!!

Today I am 6 months out of surgery and happy to say that I've been able to make it this far, that my life has changed in so many ways for the better...I look at the mirror and I see a totally different person, I see my wrists and my hands and I just realize how tiny they have become!

I just want to encourage those of you who may be silently lurking and reading the posts in this forum to make up your minds and go for the sleeve!

The sleeve has changed my life, how I see myself, how I see food, it is like a re-birth, I feel this is a second chance to live a better life, the way I want and should live it and feeling how I should feel.

I've become a stronger person, I feel powerful and in control, I go to the gym everyday after work even if I am tired and even if it was a bad day...the gym makes it all better :)
I make better choices on what I put in my mouth, and yes I've made bad choices but I don't dwell on it because I know I am responsible of keeping my weight off and because I know that the sleeve is not magic and I have to do my 50%.

I am a success story for my doctor.
Now it is all in my hands, to keep them off and to control anxiety and to make good choices.

If I can do it, all of you can!!

Wow, I really needed this tonight. It's been a tough day all around. I've been kicking myself for eating a terrible meal tonight and just having a bad food day period. I'm going thru the options program with kaiser right now, and I need to lose my 10%. It's my 2nd week, and last week I just lost a pound, but I wasn't really trying... This week, I need to get my mind right and do better!

Don't give up! tomorrow is another day, just focus in what your objective is, get that 10% off so you can move on to what's next!
