Welcome to Stallsville. Most of us have dealt with stalls around week 3 or 4 and further along the way. Trust me, this is normal and so frustrating. Your body has to figure out what the heck is happening with all the changes. Slow and steady will win the race. Just follow the plan given to you by your nutritionist and medical team and you'll be fine. I am an incredibly slow loser so I feel your pain. But it is coming off and you will lose the weight if you follow the plan. Exercise, protein and water. And vitamins and other supplements.
I am in the same boat! I am only beginning week 4 and have only lost 2 pounds over the past week and a half. I had a follow up today and cried because I felt that I should have had more weight loss. My nutritionist said that it is perfectly normal and not to be so hard on my self. That's really had to do though. I picked this surgery over the bypass because I wanted it to come off a little slower so that I could be healthier while losing and now that this is what is happening I'm disappointed. She told me that the first 2 months your body is so confused and that your hormones make you an emotional wreck....and that is what is happening to me. I should be ecstatic that I have lost 27 lbs over the past 6 weeks but I still wish it was more. Good luck to you!
