Getting Close to Goal

by Wadeswife on 09-04-2014 at 11:59 AM
I am getting close to my initial goal weight. I decided 150 lbs would be a good weight for me. At that weight I would not be considered overweight any longer. Today I am within 20 lbs of reaching that goal. However, I also have an ideal clothing size in mind. I would like to be a size 8. There is no particular reason other than it is a single digit. by Wadeswife on 05-07-2014 at 03:25 PM
When I was at my highest weight I never thought I would get to this point. I thought I would cry or laugh or do something outrageous if I got below 200 lbs. I did none of the above. I'm super proud of my progress though. I mean, 90 lbs down in approximately 6 months!! Great Weekend!!

This past weekend we went to Six Flags. I was really worried about fitting in the seats. Mentally I know I have lost over 70 pounds since I have been there, but emotionally I still felt the fear of not fitting and the embarrassment of having to leave a ride because the bar wouldn't close! NONE of that happened!! I didn't have

Frustrated Beyond Anything I Imagined

by Wadeswife on 01-13-2014 at 02:55 PM
I have been putting off writing any of this down, but I can't hold it in any longer. My surgery was 11/14/13 and I have lost 25 pounds since that day. I am completely miserable over it!! I know things are changing in my body because I am down two sizes in pants and from a 2X to an XL and sometimes even a L shirt. I feel like I am doing everything I am supposed to be doing. I upped my calories to a minimum of 700-800, get in over 60 grams of protein daily, less than 50 carbs (this is just a
