Thanks for the encouragement. I will probably drop at least 20 pounds during the pre op diet. I ALWAYS lose 10 -13 pounds the first week I drop weight. I don't know why that's just how it is, then the normally the second week isn't quite as dramatic but is probably 3-5 pounds more. I've lost 20 pounds over and over and over again. LOL. I hope this works for me. Honestly I do.

Hi! I have't done the 5 day pouch test but if you put it into the search here on the forum it will come up, or a link that explains it. Basically it is going back to eating for 5 days like you did when you had your surgery. You begin with nothing but liquids and progress to soft foods, then mushy, then more solids. The idea is to get back to feeling the restriction of the sleeve and getting back in touch with your initial mental fervor and desire to drop the weight. Hope this helps.
