  1. WooHoo, surgery is done. I'm home, and I am able to sip my protein drinks and am feeling exhausted. Which I know is expected after surgery. I just want to sleep and do nothing. However, I am getting up to walk around, check my emails, post on gastricsleeve.com, and read a little. My eyes tell me it's time to nap again. Thank you for your support. I appreciate it.

I have had a gastric sleeve.
Biography:
I have been overweight since I was young. My top weight was 360 in high school. I lost 100 pounds when I was 16 and then kept it off, but did yo-yo dieting up until about 5 years ago. I have been able to maintain but can't seem to drop the remainder of my weight. Frustrated of course, so I am considering WLS.

Anyone have to stop Multiple Sclerosis Medicine before Gastric Sleeve Surgery?

by Sasquatch on 07-14-2014 at 12:58 PM
I am going to have surgery on August 7th and I wasn't sure if anyone else has had to stop taking their Avonex or Inteferon Medicines before having Bariatric Surgery. I know I have to stop my vitamins and herb supplements now, and my neuro is out on vacation. Let me know.
