It just the out skin that came you know scab i have it covered it oozeing alittle not a lot

Yes it was like pus and blood.around the wound it did hurt but after that it does not hurt any more.

Once I got my insurance approval it took about a week to get a date but that was because the nurse who does the scheduling was on vacation. So it really should only be a few days. My surgery was approved at the beginning of July last year and my surgery was August 23rd. And yes. He does use a drain. You will wake up with it in place. They will remove it on the day after surgery when you pass the leak test. It doesn't hurt or anything. Let me know if you have anymore questions!! Good luck! I hope you get an answer back quickly!!

Hi, I'm Yvonne. Just started back on gastricsleeve.com because I waited this long to go back to Gregory Adams, MD to start the process of removing my band (2004) and replacing it with gastric sleeve. I haven't seen Dr Adams in over a year . . . I have met Dr. W (I am in the medical profession) and he agreed to take me on as a patient, but I had already established with Dr. Adams so I stayed with him. The staff at Dr. A's office said since I had band "failure" BCBS would probably cover the sleeve. I hope, I hope. I am willing to risk surgery and everything else to NOT be morbidly obese (a beast) again. Appointment with Adams this Friday to start the process. Wish me luck!
