Still having trouble drinking all my water

Had my surgery on May 29, 2014 and still have trouble drinking 64oz of water per day. I drink as much as I can during work which can be difficult at times being a hospice nurse driving house to house. I keep a 16oz cup at my bedside to drink during the night. Anyone else have this issue? Feel this is why I have been stalled for sometime now.
