I haven't been here in a couple weeks, but wanted to share. I had surgery July 25th. I'm 6' tall and weighed 334 before I started my journey. I got on the scale this morning and I hit 50 pounds lost! So I guess this is a scale victory!

I guess I was kind of skeptical that this would work since so many other things failed. It's been quite an experience. I look forward to losing the next 50!

I'm 7 days post op. About 3 days after surgery I was pretty darn energetic. Starting with day 6, I've noticed a drop in energy levels. I'm even feeling a tiny bit light headed today. I'm getting all my protein in and water.

Any thoughts?

Today is day 6 for me. Things have gone very well. I was surprised at how bloated my abdomen was several days after surgery. I walked a lot, too. It's finally starting to go down.

Looking back it all seems kind of surreal still. The pain hasn't been too bad. It's just an adjustment getting used to what my stomach is trying to tell me. I'm not sure if I'm hungry or if it's gas or what. Normally I would just eat, but maybe that's what got me into this problem!

I had my surgery 2 days ago in Tijuana. Everything went well. No leaks. I'm a little sore and very bloated, but I'm sure that's just temporary.

I can't believe I did this. I came all by myself and don't know Spanish. Very outside of my comfort zone. (Hubby is disabled and it would've been really hard for him to come.)

I'm looking forward to my new sleeved life! And to getting back home!

I'm scheduled for my sleeve on 7/25/14 with Dr. Rodriguez in Tijuana with beliteweight.com. I'm doing self-pay because the surgery is excluded by my insurance company. I'm getting ready to start the Pre-Op diet in about a week.

I'm just having second thoughts about spending the money. And I'm thinking why can't I just do it on my own without spending the money. There are so many other things I'd rather do with the money. I know that you can't put a price on health and wellness,
