I have hit a little plateau...stuck at 265 (from 350) for 2-3 months now... need to start formal exercising to start down again i guess..

Hi Tami, How nice to hear from you. I have not told anyone about my surg. It is woring well for me that way, that is why this site is so helpful for me. Thankyou for all your great words of advise and especially for being a hospice volunteer!! Hospice programs could not exist without volunteers, so again.. Thank you so much! I would be happy to make contact with you! I have kept my surgery a secret from everyone but my husband and 3 adult kids. It is really nice having this kind of support online and talking with people like you who have 'been there and done that'! You are one of my favorites to gleen advise from! Thanks for the post on Dr Almanza and the TX clinic. It really makes things easier for us who still have to go there. You look like a million $$$, hard to believe you ever needed to be sleeved....

Hi, just saw your post on the canadian sleevers board. I am in TO too. I'm 4 months post op and down almost 40 pounds so far. I don't check this website that often but i check every so often. I see you just got your surgery done. I hope it went well. Have a good recovery.

Hi Joanne: I hope all went well for you. I didn't get a chance to see you again after we met in the lobby. I made it home safe and sound....had no complications whatsoever. Did a little dry heaving after they gave me that cocktail shot. Made it thro the leak test also...thank god for those suckers on the counter to get rid of that awful taste. We did go shopping that afternoon, didn't last very long as I just couldn't seem to concentrate on anything (which is not me since I'm an absolute shopaholic). We did do some shopping in San Diego the day before we left and I picked up some great clothes of course all smaller and I can't wait to get into them...I do hope all went well for you and would love to hear how it all went for you. Keep in touch!
