    So, after things got so bad that I had to email the insurance commissioner, I finally got approved!!! I was on my way to the office to meet with Dr. Peters. I needed to update him on the nonsense that I have had to endure. As I am walking in the door, I get the phone call letting me know that I had been approved.

    Basically, they would not submit my paperwork to the insurance company because my bmi was too low. Anyway, that ordeal is over and I can't wait. My surgery date is June 19th.

    Loopholes are great! I'm ok. I have my first appointment with Dr. Wynn on May 4. I'll have more info on what my requirements will be after that. I'll keep you posted!

    Hey! It has been a roller coster ride...a lot of bumps. Long story short, my insurance allegedly requires a bmi of 50 or higher for the sleeve. Silver lining...I think that I have found a loophole. I have my final nutrition class on 5/15. So, I hope that they will approve me.
